A Journey Through the Storm (heartbreak) is a collection of urdu/ roman Hindi poems tracing the quiet path from heartbreak to healing. This book is a quiet collection of poems about fireflies and fireworms...the small lights that once filled my childhood nights. Fireflies were never just insects to me.They felt like stars that forgot the sky and chose the earth instead. They didn't light up the whole world but they lit up my world. Fireflies teach me something simple but powerful. you don't need the sky to shine.You don't need attention to matter. Even the smallest light can move forward in the dark. Through these poems, I want to reassure the fireflies that their tiny lights lit up my world. That their courage in the dark taught me how to keep going. This book is for anyone who feels small in a loud world for those who keep going quietly...for those who glow in their own way.

🏆 Amby's Winner 2024 Barren lands of heartbreaks, inscribed with words like wounds and painted with emotions like bruises, depicts the heart of a Poetess. Scarred pages can be conceptualised as those unaddressed letters buried under dust in a drawer, written solely to their future lover, but instead may end up as ashes inside a fireplace. These poems are based on real life events, and are actually a concept album for my whoever future soulmate would be, only if they ever find it. Therefore it contains every predicted possibility of love that could fit into one of those stencils described in my poems.
