Though, accepted by the poets, she has a hard time navigating society and the new world she's been forced into. Tensions rise as she begins to become romantically involved with one of the poets, yet fearful of how to handle romance. One day, she has to decide between two things: true love and everything else she's ever wanted.

I Loved You in the Dark is a poetic autobiography born from visions, grief, spiritual warfare, heartbreak, and rebirth. It is a story told in fragments, soft, aching, prophetic, unfolding the life of a girl who grew up seeing what others denied, survived what no one could name, and became a woman forged in both shadow and light. From childhood moments of intuition and ghost-sightings... to witnessing a sister's death before it happened... to enduring four years of psychic attack, generational trauma, and spiritual isolation... to loving the wrong people, losing herself, breaking rules she once held sacred, and mourning relationships that shaped her... these poems reveal the path of a soul learning discernment, fighting darkness, and returning to God through fire.
