Allison Morris is a sixteen-year-old girl. She lives in Tulsa Oklahoma in the year 1963. She has just finished high school and is on summer vacation. She lives with her mom and younger sister. She has plenty of friends and is excited to spend time with them. How will her summer play out? But everything changed when they met Ponyboy, Johnny, Dally, Darry, Sodapop, Steeve, and Two-bit. Melanie falls for the handsome Sodapop Curtis, and Alison falls for the shy Johnny.
