Scott left 101 days ago, leaving Jimmy alone in a world of monochrome and dust. With his heart broken into too many pieces to fix by himself, Jimmy is doomed to a life of decay and nostalgia and hurt. And then Scott comes back. --- Installation 1 of The Foxlore Collection This fic can be read on its own.

Watch as Ava, an 8-year-old girl, survives the depth of war with a loving heart and transforms from a bouncy little girl to a poor evacuee waiting for her family to find her. 'Poppies as red as blood, strewn throughout the mud. The church bell rings, my heart now sings. In the presence of mighty soldiers, As strong as boulders. Building up families, there are no more boundaries to cross, As all has been lost. But now we are found, unbound from a soul-shredding war.' Poem written by Issy & Lil

Some time in the distant future, a devastating war plagues earth. Named Ww3 by many, hope seems all but lost for the side England chose to defend. It's too late to take a different side now, and as a last resort the Metal Poppy movement was made. Most of England's troops were captured and taken to a new version of concentration camps, and if England could contact them, it might be the second chance needed to win. Meet April. Her family are refugees, fleeing the war zone their home has become. As Scotland and the north of England is claimed by battle, they pack their bags and run, heading to London as their last hope for safety. But when her father and two brothers are recruited for the fight, and it's just April and her mother, can they continue their journey? There seems to be nowhere for them to run, until the Metal Poppy movement is introduced. As a last resort, April volunteers to become a Metal Poppy. But children shouldn't play with guns. A sort of tribute to the world wars.

I buried my friends, I survived the war but I carry a curse, one that could drag me under the earth. "We will remember them." But to do so, we must pay a price.

These are a few of my poems that I've written over the years. I know they're not great and need work but I thought I would share them. Writing is something I enjoy very much and I don't usually share what I've written but I'd appreciate some feedback if you want to give any :)

The small town had witnessed several gruesome events in the past decade: various suicides, a devastating murder, and even a school shooting. When Charles Huntington is faced with a similar fate; it is unclear how the town will respond. He was an educated man, who thrived under the pressure of his father's iron fist; however, he was also restless. Similar, to a wild steed refusing to be tamed by anyone, Charles had never been tied down. But when his mangled body is retrieved from the lake, no one is sure what to believe. Some claim it was his father's mistress, in a crazed attempt to legitimize her own son. Many others insist it was Jared Pickering, an older man whose wife participated in a secret affair with Charles for years. The truth is muddled by a stormy cloud of opinions.
