Elliot is a dull girl with a dull life, moving once again. Maybe this time it's different...

These are a few of my poems that I've written over the years. I know they're not great and need work but I thought I would share them. Writing is something I enjoy very much and I don't usually share what I've written but I'd appreciate some feedback if you want to give any :)

End of the world or end of my memory

I buried my friends, I survived the war but I carry a curse, one that could drag me under the earth. "We will remember them." But to do so, we must pay a price.

Kevin finds out that there's a c̶u̶l̶t̶ new religion being made by one of his classmate's parents, being the good kid kevin was, he spied on the religion and realized the truth... (TW: ABUSE, HOMOPHOBIA, TRANSPHOBIA, PTSD, MPREG, PREGNANCY) btw i'm not transphobic or homophobic I just needed an idea after finding a doodle of a blue flower, which inspired this entire thingy lmao and also the mpreg part will NOT. BE DURING. THE SCHOOL PART!!! I DO NOT CONDONE WRITING ABOUT MINORS LIKE THAT!! So there will be the future parts.

This is a series of extremely short poems, inspired by the Power and Conflict poetry anthology for AQA GCSE English Literature. In these, I change the storylines slightly to create a 'what if?' experience. I hope you enjoy, as I enjoy writing these to revise for my favourite subject :) (All rights reserved to original poets, this is my original work based off the P&C poems)

January 1st, 1916 Sarah can't believe it when her elder brother, William, joins the army. William hardly ever fights; hardly ever ARGUES. Why on earth would he join up? On top of worrying about William, Sarah also has to deal with working at the ammuntation factory, toiling away 12 hours a day, to come home to a highly strung mother and a father who has forgotten everything. As well as home, there's also Jasper, her kind-of-sweetheart, who is desperate to join up and fight. But Sarah's worries come to a showdown on July 1st, 1916, when one of the most important battles of the 1st world war, the battle of the Somme, commences. And William is part of it.

Stories I write + their explanations

Historical story using a world war one story interlaced with the tale of an up to date couple's first home and the pleasure of finding out about your predecessors in your home. The episode leads to an enrichment of their relationships and a learning process for both the couple (Kate and Henry ) and the children Kate teaches at school.

#1 in Poppies #200 in letters in Nov 19 #7 in distance #1 remembrance Jonas never really thought that writing a random address and postal code would have anyone respond to his letters. He thought they would just be discarded or even not be delivered to a house at all. But because he did that he felt love once again. Ava hadn't realized that a letter from a soldier boy would make her fall head over heels for him. She never thought that such simple letters would make her laugh,smile, excited, sad, scared and all different types of emotions you can feel. This story takes place in an imaginary war that I made up in my mind. Everything is fictional in this book. I update every day and just a heads up. LOT of grammar mistakes and could make you cringe. Well in my opinion. You decide wether you like it or not!!!

(On hold but like not on hold??) Coquelicot ( /ˈkoʊklɪkoʊ/ KOHK-li-koh) a shade of red, similar to one of a poppy flower. _____ He wants her, he does too. But he's the shadow to the flame. _____ Flames don't have shadows.
