But Austin proves himself and MacKenzie lets him into her life. He's sweet to her and Winter, supportive of her music, and puts his all into their relationship. MacKenzie knows he's good for her and hopes she doesn't mess it up.

It's been 2 years since the war ended, and life on Earth has been prosperous. Everyone was living a (mostly) care free life and the futures were painted bright. Everyone that is... except for Admiral Maximillian Holt. He began to become troubled with humanity's possible future, and decided to act. He decided to launch an expeditionary fleet to start the first deep space human colony. All was going well, until 18 months into the journey when he, the Macross and the entirety of the fleet suddenly went dark, worrying Katie to her core. Now filled with a renewed determination, Katie, along with the Paladins, must race across the galaxy to find their friend and lover and figure out who or what caused the disappearance of the fleet, otherwise, it may be too late for them... and Earth.
