The black lights turned anything they hit into dangerous super villains hellbent on domination and destruction. Luckily, where there is darkness, there is always light. It's been twenty years since the OG Powerpuff Girls retired. To continue the Powerpuff Girls' legacy, a married scientist couple created the newer Powerpuff Girls to protect the next-generation city of Townsville.
