Pressured Stories

Though he can not hear any sound, she became his favorite melody. Amidst the loudest silence, her love was the voice he ever needed. And through the silence, he found a way to listen, to hear her unheard words. In silence, he heard her.

*Spin-off to Stolen Without Permission, Destery's story* "Edan, you're an idiot," I say rolling my eyes at the boy in front of me. It may sound harsh but it's true. He's annoying, mental and idiotic, yet some part of me loves him. Maybe I'm the mental one. "That may be true, maybe I'm a retard even but all I need is one month for my plan. Please, just let me help you," he begs. I can't stand the sad expression he's wearing. I drop my shoulders in defeat and let out a sigh. "Fine but if at the end of the month, everything isn't all fine and dandy-" "Oh it will be, you'll be the happiest person alive once I'm done with you," he smiles, even his smile is stupid. "If by the end of the month you still feel like shit, you can do what you wish. I won't stop you," he smiles. "You really have that much confidence in your plan Casanova?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Yup, I know for sure I can save you Des. I know I can make you want to live again." I stare astonished at Edan, he's gone completely insane. "Mark my words Destery Lee Alan, I will make you thrive to live instead of die and I intend on doing so by doing everyday little things and making them special, just for you...I want you to see the magic in everyday life again." "Fine, make me change my mind...show me a good time" I smirk.

Why are we always craving for love and attention? Is it because we didn't receive enough? Allora Zhin Australia, a soft woman, girl, and lady. She never asks for more, ang gusto niya lang ay mahalin. Is she not worth it? How can she handle those struggles? Sage Izarael, will give her the love that she wants, that she deserved. But there is not always happiness. "I can look back, but i didn't because i know... I know he will run to me."

This semi-spoken word reveals the tellings a young girl's heart. A fragile heart which she fears might break, which she fears might harden due to pressure from her chosen world.

I am writing this book for the ones that went/going through depression and anxiety . I understand the indescribable feeling, and I want you to know that you are not alone. Things WILL get better !

This is an open letter for my generation. Have you ever felt like you are not good enough? Have you reached the point of questioning yourself and hating yourself for being you? As Eid week unfolds around me, the festive atmosphere brings back memories of simpler times, transporting me to moments spent with family, wrapped in the comforting embrace of tradition and love. However, these warm memories stand in stark contrast to the harsh realities I face as an adult. The pressures of work weigh heavily on me, familial bonds that once seemed unbreakable now feel strained, and friendships that were once my anchor have drifted apart. As I navigate through these turbulent waters of disappointment and loneliness, I can't help but wrestle with feelings of inadequacy and a deep yearning for something more. The success of those around me only magnifies my own doubts, casting a long shadow over my sense of self-worth. In "How Can The Day Be So Long?"
