Whenever I feel like it, I like to write short poems. Now I'll publish them here. ^^

And though she seem fine on the outside, it hurts her to say the painful truth. The truth which they both perfectly know. That man would be death of her. She thought. This poem is about somebody who sees themselves in the mirror and does not like what they see. They try to hide their insecurities under the layer of clothes , but what happens in their mind when the clothes are off and they sand in front of the mirror all alone? I have tried to put their thoughts into words in the form of a poem. I hope you like and please do let me know what you think about this poem.

Bata pa lamang ay kakaiba na ang kaniyang kinahihiligan at pinagkakainteresan. Sa halip na maglaro ng mga karaniwang laruang pambata ay mas pipiliin niyang ibigay ang buong atensyon sa isang nagliliyab na apoy. Kakaibang pakiramdam ang hatid nito sa kanya kung kaya't hanggang sa pagtanda ay dala niya ito. Mula sa simpleng paglalaro, ito'y naging paraan niya sa paghihiganti sa kanyang ama nang siya'y tumanda. Apoy ay siya ring naging dahilan ng pagkamatay ng ama. Ngayong tumanda na siya at natuto kung ano ang totoong nangyari sa nakaraan, gusto niya ring gamitin ang apoy, gamitin sa paghihiganti at paglalaro ng buhay ng tao.

1. My name is Mia. 2. I am an only child. I have no brothers or sisters even though my dad says when I was five I asked for a baby sister for Christmas. They got me a doll instead and I named her Sissy. It made me just as happy. 3. I'm turning fourteen on the fourteenth. I can't wait! That's tomorrow. 4. I have a best friend named Daniella. She will be present when I open my gifts tomorrow. She better bring me something good! 5. I have a crush on Michael across the hall. He lives in the apartment across from mine. He is very handsome, nice, smart, and did I mention handsome? 6. That's another thing. I live in an apartment building. Not a house. Some people wouldn't like it. I think it's kind of neat. 7. Wireless Dolphin is really awesome and I'm their biggest fan!!! I love love love them! 8. I spend a lot of time writing. I don't spend a lot of time doing homework, though. If I had a dog I would feed all of my homework to him, if he would actually eat it. He probably wouldn't. I bet math tastes horrible. 9. I hope to be a writer when I grow up. Then maybe I can actually make money for doing something I love instead of doing homework. English 101 is my favourite subject, though. As far as schoolwork goes, it's the thing I can actually stand. 10. I love making Top Ten Lists! Hoorah! Maybe some day I will make a site or a blog of Top Ten lists and become really, super famous.

Poetry context regarding society, life and withered mind

It is as the title says: A collection of my thoughts I deem ready to brave the world. My poetry is crude and unrefined. I do not rhyme or write eloquent words. I am not a poet. Just a girl with many thoughts, that cannot be kept in this mind. So, I am a "poet".

Dr. Elizabeth Sigyn is one of the most promising scientists of her generation. With a bright future, and possibly a Nobel prize ahead, she has everything set out before her. She had always planned and accounted for everything she wanted in life. She didn't plan to lose everything- Her job. Her colleagues. Her tenure. Her fiancé. Everything she held dear. It wasn't her plan to move to California- to be neighbors with Dr. Sheldon Cooper. It was never her plan to fall in love. Maybe the unexpected can turn out to be much better than what was plotted out.

A collection of observations, wishes, and goals. As growth occurs in life, so too will it manifest within this work. Dedicated to the loving, and the learning to love again.
