A young seeker struggles to learn dharma. Is it his bad karma obstructing his path, or his good karma creating the conditions to open his all-seeing third eye? *** Two starkly different young men make the irreversible decision to renounce worldly life and pursue dharma. Which one will unlock the all-seeing third eye and attain the beyond-form rainbow body? One, blessed with good karma, is the scion of nobility with a brilliant mind, seemingly destined for greatness. Dharma comes naturally to him; he masters even the advanced philosophical texts with ease and quickly rises to become a celebrated prodigy and the lama's precious heart-son. The other, burdened with bad karma, is an orphan with no one and nothing, apparently fated to suffer and fail. For years he cannot even receive the lama's audience, and when he is finally ordained, he cannot progress beyond a foundational text, struggling to grasp even the most basic teachings. But as they journey on, one completing monastic education, the other fleeing from it, they discover dharma to be merely a path, not the goal, the true doorway lying within tantra's secret realm.
