Jael Sloan Grant was an orphan to begin with. Her father died before she was born, her mother died in childbirth. She was sent to live with her aunt and uncle until her aunt suddenly died when she was six years old, changing her life forever. Eventually, she winds up in the care of some family friends, where she grows up being taught about faith, love, and family. Jael's name is pronounced Jay-elle. Mackenzie's birthday week doesn't really start out as planned.. She wakes up to find poop on her floor, trips on a toy, and smashes her head! But worst of all, she finds out her family has completely disappeared. She follows several clues from an unlikely helper that leads to her families collection of paintings, sketches, watercolors and more. As the creations come alive, she finds her family has been sucked into the paintings and she must get them out by her birthday. Will she be able to get them out by her birthday on Friday the 13th? or will her family be trapped in an ongoing painting for eternity.......

A poem about how I've been feeling lately and what I imagine a lot of others feel. It has to do with working constantly to gain very little. The poem was written so it could apply to those who are working but also those who are still in school. The end is inspiration from my amazing boyfriend @thatawkwardgirl986.
