I did not believe that a person could make you feel a thousand of things at the same time. I didn't think that a person could make your skin goose bumps, make your heart race in matter of a second, and make butterflies flutter inside your stomach out of nowhere. Much less believed that a person can make you feel all those things just in the first meeting. Anyway, I did not believe in love at first sight. But all that changed in the moment when my eyes fell on him... From that moment I began to believe in love at first sight. Happy Pride! Although I am a straight, cis woman, I am a LGBTQ+ ally. So each year, I hope to update to this "story" with my well wishes to everyone in the LGBTQ+ community. In each part - along with showing my support for the LGBTQ+ community - I hope to walk straight, cis people through this to the best of my ability. Our society has overcome most forms of prejudice, but still haven't been able to completely accept trans gender people. It's one of my original poems which attempts to describe their pain and show us the truth of our society so as to inspire us to work towards the greater good of all humans-even transgender.
