This is my alternative ending to "Contents of a Dead Man's Pocket" by Jack Finney. I made this in my English class as an assignment.

We all have someone for whom we get weak sometimes. it maybe a person or even things or movies, the list goes on... but sometimes that feeling can bring you down or you don't want that feeling anymore. maybe before the same you pampered that feeling so well but now things changed or they made us to change... we don't wanna be someone who takes initiative all the time. we are humans, we get tired at times. lets see if we stop trying, does the other side take initiative?

Kimberly is embarking on an adventure that many high school graduates do: going to college. From afar Kimberly appears to be your average freshman student, because she is. College has started and Kimberly has no worries in the world. She's in a sorority, is working a part time job, and is double majoring. Kimberly even has the Dean's nephew wrapped around her finger. Life couldn't be more perfect. However, that all is threatened when an old foe from Kimberly's past tries to win her back. He broke Kimberly's heart and is coming back to fix it. The Easter holidays have finished, giving Lucy time to process the situation. Her aim now is to complete her course and do a virtual show after being informed by her lecturer. As much as it is important to finish her course, her family suggest doing an activity to help her destress. This is where she decides to look for auditions, along with taking part in screenplays with members her theatre company online. She then comes face to face with another guardian angel, who helps guide her as to what she should be prioritising during lockdown when she struggles to organise time with everything and how to deal with the news of her teacher leaving.

I'm sure we've all been there, sucked up in a whirlwind at some point in life. It might not have been a windfall of wealth or ultra fame but we would have been dazzled by some dreamy ideal situation that swept us off our feet. Something that we focused on, got absorbed by, had passion for then became obsessed with. Until one day we lost sight of what truly mattered, got our priorities wrong and lost the something that never sticks around if you mistreat it often enough.
