𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙤𝙬𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙨. A black girl that has crippling anxiety-but an affinity for poetry finds out that her school is representing themselves in a grand poetry slam hosted by Georgetown University. The problem is, she hasn't found her voice yet. What happens when she meets a boy who sees in her what she has yet to discover and helps her bring it out within herself?

This is a tale between two souls different but the same, willing and unwilling to intertwine their hearts with each other to gain the one thing everyone desires... Love. Enjoy this epic love story between these two souls .

Rachel and her friends are average teenagers. Well at least they were before things started to twist out of control. All they wanted to do was get revenge. They didn't want their friends death to be in vain. Well because of that they're enemies of the state and are about to be serving a death penalty tomorrow for what they did. Who are they now ? What have they become? How did things get so bad? Well they're the Black Panthers, and they're teenage rebels.

All the boys on the block gravitated toward Egypt. Not only was she smart, sweet, and beautiful, she was funny, and almost impossible not to like. 5 foot 6, about 115 pounds, with the most beautiful beauty marks & brown freckles on her bright yellow, lightskinned face. Growing up in a Pro-black family Egypt always made an attempt to let it be known that she was fully black. She was proud of her heritage, she was accepting of herself & she was an all around sweet girl, that almost every guy in town wanted to get a taste of. As Egypt leans towards accomplishing her goals, she experiences lust, romance, loss, devastation, success, & a variety of other things. See how her family, and friends help her cope and stay on the right path as she sometimes roams off course.

High school only meant one thing for Kristina Washington: Ignorance, ignorance, and more ignorance. When she's accepted into a school where the ratio of white to colored is 3:1, she already knows what to expect. Comments about her hair, about her lips, and about her speech. But what she wasn't expecting to learn that hate comes in many shapes and forms. She starts to see that there's more to oppression than just the basic racism they taught in middle school. It's because of this Kristina becomes more woke and unfortunately more hated. Author's Note: This book would highlight the many social/racial issues happening in America, as well as the black community. If you are not comfortable with the topic of these issues, and/or the truth in general, DO NOT read this book.
