Rome is about to fall. But not in the way you think. Forget the legions. Carthage's deadliest weapon is Saphanbaal, Hannibal's younger sister - a master of whispers, lies, and unseen control. Operating under a Roman alias, she infiltrates the heart of the Republic, pulling strings in the Senate, twisting public opinion, and turning Roman against Roman. As the drums of the Second Punic War grow louder, Saphanbaal's shadow network ignites riots, sparks scandals, and weaponizes the very fabric of Roman society. But a young, idealistic Tribune, Marcus Valerius Flaccus, is beginning to connect the dots, unraveling a conspiracy that could shake Rome to its foundations. The Carthaginian Candidate is a pulse-pounding historical thriller that asks: How far would you go to save your people? And can a society survive when truth itself becomes a weapon? Uncover the secrets of ancient espionage, where every whispered rumor is a bullet, and every alliance is a potential betrayal.

On the Edge of Faith is a tense social thriller about how a personal family war turns into a carefully orchestrated campaign of harassment. Three years ago, Vera Naumova escaped from the "golden cage" of her marriage to Oleg, a successful, respectable businessman who turns out to be a cold controller and sadist at home. She builds a new life: two children (Kostya and Alina), a sick father, a job where she can finally survive and get ahead-network marketing. Vera becomes a leader, starts earning money, and for the first time feels that she has a voice and freedom. And that is what triggers a chain reaction. Oleg cannot accept her independence - and finds the perfect tool for revenge: the "salvation industry," where anyone who is inconvenient can be declared a "cult follower," "brainwashed," or "dangerous to children." Anti-cult "experts," commissioned publications, pseudo-expert opinions on social media posts, pressure through schools and authorities all come into play - and what should protect begins to work as a press. When the blow falls on the most vulnerable - children - Vera realizes that this is not just a divorce and not just slander. It is a system that knows how to turn the victim into a criminal, violence into "rehabilitation," and truth into extremism. Left virtually alone against connections, money, and "the right stamps," she meets people who have already been crushed by the same anti-cult methods. Together, they gather evidence, track down money and schemes, and Vera has to take a step from which there is no turning back. This is a story about domestic terror masquerading as well-being; about manipulation through fear and the word "cult"; about how easily society begins to applaud retribution if it is nicely called "salvation." And about how a mother's determination sometimes proves stronger than any propaganda machine.

This chapter as well as the ensuing chapter sheds light on how the JW religion made its way into our home. I wondered for years how two grown adults - my parents - could have a discussion and come to the conclusion the JW cult was the best option for their children. However, at the time I started the rough draft of this book in 2013, I was going through my first post narcissistic recovery bid, and I didn't quite understand how trauma clouds your judgement. I get it now!

In an eerily inverted world, humanity reels under the shadow of sinister extraterrestrial forces. The new reality is stark and bewildering, marked by a chasm between what is and what is portrayed. Powerless governments resort to deception, propagating the illusion of normalcy while death and mysterious ailments ravage the populace. In this regime, even acknowledging the existence of extraterrestrials is heresy, a paranoid fantasy dismissed and suppressed. Embark on an immersive journey into this dystopian realm, seen through the eyes of a brave few, the resolute resistance. These individuals defy the imposed silence, voicing the forbidden, risking all to shatter the façade of lies. Facing internment and stigma, they stand against not only the alien menace but also an oppressive regime, determined to uphold its illusory peace at any cost. This is a tale of rebellion, intrigue, and the relentless pursuit of truth. Witness humanity's resilience as it confronts the greatest challenge in its history. The question lingers: Can it overcome its own denial? The race against time is on. This gripping novel promises to hold you captive until its final page. In a world where truth is the ultimate transgression, brace yourself for a literary odyssey that will linger long after the journey concludes.

Nazi soldiers were everywhere. Battalions of Nazis marching down wide boulevards. Nazis standing on convoys of tanks, waving flags. Row upon row of Nazis saluting speeches by their leader. Nazis fighting on battlefields. It was exhausting to watch for too long and nothing like 'Indiana Jones'. In fact, it was a little bit frightening.

Viktor has lost everything: his career, his reputation, his ability to write. The smear campaign has turned the journalist into a recluse. But a propagandist's offhand phrase triggers an investigation: from Rwanda to Auschwitz, from Künneth to Dvorkin-the language of genocide spreads like a virus. Viktor writes a book not for the sake of victory, but so that the echo of lies does not become absolute silence. It is an act of bearing witness against the technology of hatred.

Set in an uncommonly written narration of a second-person point of view, this story focuses on you, the reader. You are living life as Jesse Aleks, full-time senior in high school, part-time record shop employee. Every dull and, frankly, miserable day of your life is spent with hopeful glances and quick exchanges because you, just like others, do this as you are all too painfully aware of the Soulmate Selection, a rather tedious and torturous system that everyone is born with. Once a person's eyes and their soulmate's directly meet, it is said that you can hear music. Real music. Not the kind that music-deaf people make to try and get around it. You too, are music-deaf, as you still have yet to find the girl meant for you. The story shares rolls with the snarky Jake White, a man two years your senior. His side is told in a simplistic, third-person viewpoint. Unlike most, he's not too keen on finding his person, as he wears his signature pair of shades even in his dreams. He's a handsome man, albeit. The girls adore him, parents idolize him; he really is the man of the future. Literally.
