A rambling of my coming to terms with the political situation in my country right now. I am 16. I live in California. I love math and science. I care about my world. I am an American. (Edit:) More ramblings about my life, less political. This is becoming a sort of personal story that is cathartic for me to write and I hope at least a bit meaningful to read.

James Grant has always looked up to his hometown hero, George Washington. Meeting him started the fire half the colonies were already feeling. James makes the decision to join the Continental Army and fight against Great Britain, freedom just a ways away. Facing death on every side, James not only fights to gain his independence-he fights to make his hero proud. Though this is the first published book in the Carving the Way series, all books can be read in any order.
