Constantly when you were together you would just argue, jokingly but more often then not, for real, honestly it was mainly your fault since you started most of them, but one day you actually snapped, it was a proper argument and he wasn't taking you seriously, calling it bullshit and a waste of time when you genuinely were angry, you broke up with him right there, his friends in the next room, you stormed out and he just rolled his eyes, texting you the next morning as if it didn't happen, you left him on delivered, for weeks, to be honest, he's still on delivered and now you just feel petty.

'Tranquil' in the poem refers to the state of mind the narrator is in as he thinks about how the the person he is loves and how he can be with them by overcoming his mistakes and showing her he can be the man of her dreams.
