مقدمه‎ای برتندخوانی پس از جنگ جهانی دوم تجربه به انسان آموخت که چشم و ذهن او این قابلیت را دارد که با تمرین به حدی بالاتر از ادراک برسد و با سرعت بیشتری ببیند و تشخیص دهد. ماجرا از این قرار بود که در جنگ جهانی دوم متوجه شدند که بعضی از خلبانان اهداف مورد نظر خود را به خوبی تشخیص نمی‎دهند، چرا که سرعت بالای هواپیما و پایین بودن سرعت تجزیه و تحلیل و ادراک ذهن و چشم خلبان این قابلیت را به آنها نمی‎داد، دستگاهی را طراحی کردند که کارش این بود، تصاویر را به خلبان نشان می‎داد و خلبان هم تصاویر را به خوبی می‎دید و بایستی تشخیص می‎داد که تصویر چیست؟ اوایل تصاویر را به صورت آرام و با سرعت کم نمایش می‎دادند، تصاویری مثل کامیون، چادر، ساختمان و... و رفته رفته با گذشتن هر مرتبه سرعت را افزایش دادند تا جایی که در اثر تمرین بر روی این کار، همان خلبانان توانستند با سرعت زیاد، تصاویر را تشخیص دهند و چیستی آن را درک کنند.

As I said in my bio, I publish on a high school news paper. I am an editor, and hopefully my stuff isn't garbage.
