Not everything is as it seems. Someone you think you know may be someone else inside. Someone you considered a friend may already be moving on. Someone who people make assumptions about may be far from what they think. Something that you don't know is there may be closer to you than yourself. An unexpected catalyst triggers an adventure. Strange places will be connected. New friends will be made, and maybe lost. Old friends will be tried and tested. Nothing is certain but the possibility of defeat, and there is only one way to find out what happens: read the book!

Tommy was taught that there are two types of people: those who deserve to live and those whose world is better off without. He's learning, the hard way, that in moments of despair he's the only one who needs to decide which is which. Raised in captivity and fleeing to the fringes of the world, he's seen enough poverty to know that good and evil rarely look like what they should. He's seen people too kind to survive and people too cruel to deserve to continue. And his power to heal and revive whomever he wants doesn't make his job any easier; his life has revolved around doing really bad things but keeping going. Heroes, vigilantes, sometimes villains. The world has moral rules he doesn't yet understand. And the question that won't leave his head is simple and impossible at the same time: Which lives matter? OR Healer Tommy is struggling with who he should revive and help, and who is best left untouched.

Though, it seems being a family is a lot harder than it was first made out to be. As winter progresses, a deathly beast prowls around the corner and tensions set in between family members. That's all without the fact that Philza seems to keep his very job a secret from the rest of his family... As the tale unfolds, so does the delicate strings holding together their family. The only wonder is, will they make it another day to see the golden sunrise once more, or will night prevail and the watchful beast finally hunt down each and every one of them?

Philza sent his children, Technoblade, Wilbur, and Tommy, to a 'prestigious' boarding school. At first, it looks like a normal, strict academy. But after a while, things started to go downhill. Will they be able to survive this new school life?
