Ten years later, Melanie goes on a camping trip with her friends from school when they are interrupted by Heartless from Kingdom of Hearts to reclaim the power. King Mickey appears to save Melanie and the two are separated not before Melanie had the chance to activate the light in the form of a powerful magical light shield.
