Through small observations and gentle daydreams, ordinary moments become meditations on self awareness, gratitude, loneliness, empathy, and the quiet stories that surround us every day. Each story begins with something easily overlooked: a passing stranger, a changing light, a small detail; and follows wherever the imagination leads. None of these imagined lives may be true, but perhaps they don't have to be.

I had trouble rhyming when I was younger. I wasn't so great at school, I wasn't too great at being practical. All I knew was how to be myself. Last year, I lost that only part of me that really belonged to me, and I had nothing but paper to express myself with. Late nights writing about fucking cruel feelings, and now I'm finally ready to share them. This is going to be so active you can barely keep up. Or can you? #1 on quickbooks #1 on wordy #38 on new #2 on ominous #1 on something else I can't quite remember... give it a try

"How am I supposed to stalk you when I don't even know your name?" It started with an empty house, a 14-day trip to Japan she had to skip, and an early arrival at Sunday mass. That was before she saw him, a young warden, kneeling to teach a child with a gentleness that caught her completely off guard. Now she's back home with more questions than answers, and only her dog to listen to her ridiculous thoughts. Who is he? And why did one silent moment change everything? --- Notes: Have you ever caught yourself completely distracted by a stranger's small act of kindness? This short fiction piece is inspired by a real-life moment. Thank you for stopping by. I would love to hear your thoughts as you read along. Enjoy!!!

This book will be a collection of short stories I wrote for English class or in my free time. Some of the stories may have been based on a prompt, so the idea will be more my teacher's than mine, but others are free-writes that we had just been given a picture to base it off. All my poems will be free-verse poems and may cover sensitive topics that hit close to home, so enter with caution. I will not explain any of the poems because I feel it is up to the reader to decipher it themselves, but feel free to comment on what you think it's about. I hope you enjoy having a look into my thoughts!

I felt the need to write a variety of short stories about mental health and lifestyles; the implications and the repercussions of living with emotional issues. These stories came from experiences in some form or other, but also came from a tiny spark that grew into something more. Some, you will find, will continue at a later date. If you would like to read all five stories now, please look for the book on Amazon in Kindle version. I hope you gain something from them - whether you can relate to a mothers' everyday worries or coping with the little quirks that are you. Above all, know that although you are unique, you are absolutely not alone.
