Being the only female Newsie is a tough life. Constantly surrounded by teenage boys who can be overprotective to the extent she feels like she has no freedom. Heather Kelly, A.K.A. Teddy, little sister of the infamous Jack Kelly, finds herself in an unusual predicament when she sees her long time newsboy associate, Racetrack Higgins in a different light. Racetrack Higgins, the only boy who didn't treat Heather like the little sister she was to every other newsboy.

Race Higgins is excited to start a new life at college. Little does he know that is exactly what he'll get. Just not in the way he thinks... He meets Spot Conlon, a leather wearing motorcycle riding bad boy, and Albert DaSilvia, the rich playboy and life of the party. Who hate each other! However when both of these boys meet Race they fall for him. Which only makes their rivalry grow! Who will Race choose??? A love triangle with a twist!

It's nice staying on vacation permanently, but being couped up together while travel restrictions are in place, miles from home, will sure bring challenges to the Newsies. Will they ever make it out soon? Or will they stay on this vacation for longer than they had anticipated... Stepping onto Brooklyn's turf was like stepping into molten lava. Race really wished he went with the safe choice, Midtown, instead of feeding himself to the dogs. He almost went through with it too, but something in the back of his head was screaming for him to go with his gut. Which so happened to be exactly why he was now in this predicament. Who knew everything could spiral out of control because of a seriously short temper and a deal with a King? OR: Spot finds out the hard way that it's quite difficult to get rid of Racetrack Higgins! ★

It's the early spring of 1900, about half a year since the strike. There's peace between the boroughs. That is, until one particularly influential Manhattan newsie gets a little picky about boundaries with Brooklyn. Racetrack Higgins has often felt divided between Manhattan and Brooklyn, and for more reasons than him originally being from Brooklyn. But when the ever so arrogant Jack Kelly decides to start an argument, which leads to a couple soakings, which in turn leads to a turf war, Race feels the sudden and silent pressure to choose a borough. It's always been hard to tell what Racetrack is thinking, but now he's being even more secretive than before, and the rest of Manhattan is in the dark. I do not own Newsies or any of the characters except for the few explicitly stated to be mine.

Clarice Higgins isn't your average girl, she was one of the few girl Newsies which made her a winner at selling papers along with her twin brother Anthony Higgins, mostly known as Racetrack. When Joseph Pulitzer raises the paper price, the newsies go on strike. Follow the heroic story told by yours truly....

They saw Paint marching down the stairs, playfully fuming, "Flames!" Paint stood at the bottom of the steps, staring right at Flames. "Hmmmmm?" Flames crouched at the third shelf up, smirking. Some Newsies rolled their eyes, it's a daily occurrence that Flames would steal something from Paint and just wait on the shelf for them. "You'se are very dead today Flames." They huffed, making their way towards the shelf. "Oh am I?" "Ye'."
