Life has been a never ending series of disappointments for Arkady: a failed marriage, an earth-shattering apocalyptic event, the creation of bipedal animals who don't take kindly to humans, and the failures of the people in power to do anything about any of it. So, overall, not much different from the other people in the Latvian Exclusion Zone. He earned the respect of his fellow stalkers and the disrespect of the people who label those in his position as criminals. He spent a third of his life after finding his place in the Zone trying to search for his ex-wife. Though those attempts proved fruitless. ' Until one day, a bounty hunting job leads him to discover something he was never meant to see. Documents proving that she, his ex-wife, the woman he still loves now, might still be alive. His obsession is reignited, and finally his life has a purpose beyond taking jobs to stay alive. But his discovery is not only his own. The people in power, the ones that had failed him so many times before, have decided that his discovery is theirs. Will his unofficial VDV training from Alexei, his lessons from the Zone, and experience in civilian division of the Latvian military be able to keep him alive long enough to discover where she's gone after all these years? Please note: Some characters and events in this story are inspired by or parody existing works and their characters. In this post apocalyptic world you would think between the radiation and ailen predators there would be no room for hope, but you would be gravely mistaken. This is the story of a girl named Artemis, a beacon of hope and the savior of humanity.

Hot shot is nine years old. He lives with his parents Heatwave and Quickshadow. He is a very active and playful boy. He loves to run, jump, climb, play and do sports. He is very smart and gets good grades in school. He is very kind with a big heart, he is very well behaved too. He is going to be in fourth grade in fall, his birthday is November 28th. He is a very good and well behaved boy. He loves his parents and they love him. They originally lived in a little town in Maine. But then in Mid April they moved to Fort Worth Texas. Hot shot is getting used to his new home and is starting to like it. He hopes to make some new friends soon. However shortly after the move Hot shot starts to feel unwell. His parents take him right to Cook Children's Hospital ER because they are worried about him. After an MRI and a bunch of tests Hot shot is diagnosed with medulloblastoma a type of brain tumor that is brain cancer. Hot shot is brave and ready to fight his cancer head on. In the hospital he makes friends with four other children his age who also just moved to Fort Worth with the same type of cancer. They become the best of friends and decide to fight their cancer together. They are determined to win too! (Humanized)

Hot shot has a constant headache, he is vomitting, he is tired, and he is very cranky. His parents take him to Texas Children's Hospital. There he gets an MRI which reveals a brain tumor in his left pariental lobe near the frontal lobe and a biopsy reveals it is ATRT a type of brain cancer. Hot shot makes friends with five other kids his age with the same cancer who were also just diagnosed. Three boys, Hoist, Medix, and Wedge and a girl Whirl. They all become best friends and decide to fight their cancer together. They are determined to win! (Humanized)

Everyone is living on Earth and human. Both Teela and Adam are rich and married and Adam runs a big company he inherited from his father. Teela is in the army like her father was. They even have a son named Darren who they call Dare as a nickname. Orko and Dree Elle are human and married and have two wonderful children. Eddy is their son who is rough, tumble, couragous and hopes to be in the military when he grows up, Hannah is their daughter who is sweet, kind, loves nintendo games, animals, to bake and wants to be a baker. Andra and Damien are married and have a son named Andre. They all live in Fort Worth TX. Orko is a pediatric neuro-oncologist who works at Cook Children's hospital. Dree Elle is a pediatric oncology nurse who also works at Cook Children's Hospital. Eddy the oldest child is 12 years old and in second grade. Hannah just turned eight years old in September she is in second grade. Adam, Teela, Damien and Andra are childhood friends of Orko and Dree Elle. Randor and Marlena love their grandson Dare and they care about Dare's friends Andre and Hannah because they are Hannah's age and will be in Kindergarten next year like Hannah. Both of Orko and Dree Elle's children have always been happy and healthy. However at the start of December Hannah noticed she wasn't feeling too good. Hannah has a horrible headache, she is tired all the time, she is vomiting, and she is very cranky. On the morning of December 8th they take her right away to Cook children's after she has a seizure. An MRI reveals a brain tumor in her left pariental lobe. A biopsy confirms it is ATRT. Hannah despite being very young is very brave and ready to fight. Hannah is able to do this fight with her friends and family by her side. (Humanized)
