Ryazan, one of the grandest cities in all Rus', lays along the war path of thousands of Tatar warriors eager to seize the spoils of a short-fought campaign: the women of the city and gold from its treasury. Having set up camp just beyond the city, they await a reply from the envoys of Grand Prince Yuriy. As the Grand Prince deliberates, his boyars both caution and counsel him. If Ryazan falls, the rest of Rus' may be next ─ an outcome his people grow ever more wary of, turning to priests and old rituals alike as rumor and fear run rampant inside the city walls. Finally left untended, the Polovtsian princess Yanay, conquered once before, now betrothed to one of the Grand Prince's brothers, quietly observes these developments. ♟️: Just like two swords couldn't stay in one sheath, similarly Jung Hoseok and Kim Taehyung couldn't stay together in one place. Both were famous because of their characters and attitudes. Whenever they come across each other their wolves always wanted to dominate one another. One thing was same about both of them was that they had a lot of omegas, betas & other Werewolf breeds, who wanted to be their mates but only Taehyung liked to spend time with them and get all their Attentions. Hoseok had nothing to do with all of them and another special thing was that; Hoseok was liked a lot by many alphas because of his sharp features, fierce temper and fascinating personality. Tarble pushes himself to his knees, looking at his older brother nervously. "I told you that I am not cut out for fighting didn't I? At least I tried!" "Trying is not good enough. What matters is what you get out of it and, from where this is going you've earned nothing!" Vegeta growls. "You can barely dodge my weakest attacks!" "I'm sorry Vegeta... I just can't do it." Tarble mumbles shamefully. "Oh please, every Saiyan has the power in there somewhere. You need to learn how to embrace that power when you feel it coming." Vegeta tilts his head up. "Gohan was a sniveling brat at one point. His power came out through anger, and I have a feeling it still does. Perhaps you are the same way." "That doesn't work Vegeta." Tarble sighs. "I've gotten angry at times and all that did was make me unclear with my plans in the combat I do wind up in." He gets to his feet. "Now if you excuse me, I have to join the others at the table." Vegeta almost forgets how to stand. "What? So you're just going to walk away like this isn't important?!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Two months has passed since the fight against Abo and Cado and Tarble's arrival for Vegeta's assistance against them. As Tarble stayed with his visit a while longer, Vegeta has decided he had enough of his brother being a lame fighter and decided to train him. A girl named Pearl, had the perfect life. She had a best friend, she was good in school and she was happy and content with her life. Until her and her best friend fall apart. Pearl slowly loses her sparkle and gets less happy every day. One day, she meets a certain boy. When she looked into his eyes, she was blown away by his beauty. They get along well and everything seems to get back to normal again until another cruel thing happens. Her mom never really cared for her only in times she was sad, so she felt like it wasn't for real. But Jeremy was the only one who genuinely cared... or was that just an illusion? It all falls apart when she finds out what kind of person Jeremy really is... ''PLEASE STOP'', I screamed while he was exerting his anger on the furniture. The sharp and shiny shards of glass were all over the room as he threw all the empty bottles of alcohol out of the wooden cabinet. The strong odor of alcohol mixed with sweat was unbearable. My body was shivering and the little hairs on my arm were standing straight up. The fear I experienced here, was higher than it ever was before, even after all the tantrums I had to go through already. This time, it wasn't only the fear of his wellbeing... it was the fear of my own life. This book is about the effect of alcoholism on the addicted person itselfs and the people around them. This is the first book I have ever written and I'm very excited about it. English isn't my main language so mistakes can be found.
