The Autobots and Decepticons were fighting as usual for Energon when they plunged into a hole, falling unceremoniously into the abyss. There was one massive Energon in the middle of the place, far bigger than the usual Energon crystals. Things took a turn when the crystal glowed brightly, enveloping the bots and transporting them to somewhere. There was a catch though. They are now tiny and sparkling-like. A semi-ordinary teenage girl who has had to fend for herself for many years due to emotional neglect from her parents, taking part in an underground adrenaline rush just to find a sense of herself, finds herself with a yellow camaro that her dad graciously agreed to help pay for. A camaro with a secret and a war brewing from the stars arriving to the planet. A war that was not her own, but she will come to learn as part of her family's legacy. Facing the dangers that come with the beings from the stars, the leading commander of the autobots finds himself looking at this young human in a way he has not looked at another for a very long time. Her fiery nature is a shield, one he could see through upon their first meeting. One he learns she has built around herself to protect herself from pain. As for the girl...there is more to this autobot leader than meets the eye. She slowly finds herself a new family to surround her with affection she has never had in her life. It is alien to her, just as alien as the autobots themselves. However...that is just what interests her. Especially Optimus Prime.

A regular day of mining turns chaotic when an unknown creature somehow found its way into the energon mines. With a sudden disruption, all the miners had no choice but to search for whatever had gotten into mines and almost cause the loss of mined energon into a deep, dark pit of the mines. However, when they find what had caused the chaos, it became a shock. A small, frightened sparkling had somehow found her way into the mines now found herself in the hands of someone most of the miners would consider to not be responsible for even caring for a sparkling. A red and blue bot named Orion Pax. With the two stunned, Orion found himself in an awkward situation. Especially as this sparkling bore some resemblance to Orion and his closest friend, D-16. Which quickly becomes a joke among the miners, despite the fact this sparkling clearly came from the city itself. However, with no record of any new sparklings in the medical database, and no information of who the parents of this sparkling might be, the two young mining bots find themselves forced to care for this sparkling as it was quickly decided she would become a mining bot just like them. Which left them both scrambling to learn to even how to care for a sparkling who demanded attention and formulated energon for herself. And that was made even more difficult as it was soon discovered that this sparkling's vocal processor was not functional. Meaning this young spark was mute, and possibly kicked out. However, as time goes by, they learn to teach the young spark to communicate without speech, and discover she had an extreme fear of Sentinel Prime. Neither Orion or D-16 understood the reason. Until one fateful day at the Iacon 5000
