Alan was a difficult case, a troubled kid with no manners and lack of respect for authority figures according to his mother. Alan however said it was simply him not bending to a system of hypocrisy that had done nothing but chew him up and spit him out over and over again. Which is exactly how he found himself in the psych ward. Between a twisted home life and a rambling voice in his head that seemed to expand into every fiber of his being, mixed with the more-than-odd rules of the unit, Alan's sanity was unraveling itself, and so were the secrets of the place he resided. However a lifetime of tragedy and narcissism didn't deter his curiosity or his knack for trouble, and he was about to be tangled in far more trouble than he could've ever asked for.

Kailanni Bergs was a young girl raised on the south side of Chicago. She was a smart, high spirited, fun going young lady. She was as beautiful as her mother and strong as her grandmother. Although she never knew her father she knew she shared some part of him as well. Kailanni always made smart choices until she met her high school sweet heart. Johnny, he always seemed sweet and charming until Kailanni really got to know him. By the time she meet the real Johnny it was too late. He brought her too a world of trouble that Kailanni would have to fight and kill to get out of. Love was a hard battle and Kailanni will soon have to make a choice.

Each night, I got to hear a different story from my dad. He told me about the time he saw a UFO or when Santa Claus broke into his bedroom to give him a candy cane. I became the audience of a mastery storyteller, enthralled with the unusual and interesting characters from another lifetime. These were incredible, audacious tales of bravery and adventure. And I was immediately captivated. Every night, I would go to bed amazed. And every night, my dad would tell me the same thing: Some day, you'll have stories of your own to tell. But I never believed him. There was just no way I'd ever have stories like my dad's - I was certain of it. They were just too incredible. And for the longest time, I was right.
