Mermaids are real. Crazy, right? Humans have so much to learn about these magical beings, but most never get the chance. Who better to learn about mermaid life from them a real mermaid herself?

The Great Sophie closed her eyes and grinned. It's not that she felt bad for all the other stage magicians or tricksters of the trade, on the contrary. She liked her coworkers and colleagues. Her idol was a singer named Myria Whites, and although she had forgotten, the singer had been in her dreams since she was ten, long before she knew her. [EDITING] Kreelah's Aunt Hettie, a magistrate from their former cob village, vanished one day, kidnapped and held deep in the bog by the creatures of Bogh. There she finds giving up her activist role, with all that she knows of the past and the future, might just be a task she's simply not up to-especially when her goddaughter / niece, Kreelah, whom she loves very much, is threatened and can no longer hear, in fact cannot even see her. Hettie's now determinedly bound to find her way out of the swamp or at least to get through with some kind of a warning, before Kreelah too winds up where she is!

When listening to music there are sometimes these perfectly timed moments where you really do feel like you're part of a story; as if this simple walk down the street actually meant so much more. Journey with a girl in a purple coat as she lives through one of these moments...
