Eddie Kaspbrak is the finest of Derry High. Straight A student and the perfect example to everyone of the ideal person to be. Eddie has his whole life planned ahead of him. Specific moves that are intricately structured with the perfect opportunities to lead him to the top. Eddie is the fucking poster boy of perfection. But unfortunately, nobody is perfect. And when a certain someone threatens the spot on top that Eddie has reserved for himself, the ugly side of him unleashes, and things get... messy. Let's just say that Eddie Kaspbrak would do anything for his reputation. And that includes befriending a complete moron, despite it's challenges. And it's challenges... are a fucking lot. But he's willing to get his hands dirty for the deed. As they all say, keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. Or, alternatively: Eddie Kaspbrak is a know it all, and believes he has battled heroically through all the high school classes he needs to ace in order to succeed in life and to know what he's doing all throughout. And he does know what he's doing, for the most part, up until Richie Tozier comes along, and fucks everything up. Eddie has to soon realize that life isn't just dots and dashes and letters and numbers. People are people, and life is bigger than he's ever known before. Richie is about to meet the new student of Derry high, richie is secretly gay. He has never dated anyone but he knew that he has had feelings for guys and only guys. When richie bumps into the new kid he finds out his name, Eddie. Richie fell in love with his adorable face and the way he smiles and talks.

It's been two years since Richie and Eddie have spoken. They go to the same collage and have glanced at each other here and there but what happens when a hook up starts to bring up past feelings...

His breath was shaky, waiting for an answer from him, his eyes threatening to spill. He sucked in the breath, trying to move up from the floor. "Why shouldn't i Rich?" Eddie asks, his face unreadable. Richie started into his eyes the best i could, the tears now popping out of his eyes. His face burning from the prickles against it. "Because Ed's, you began to feel like home."

I wrote this story in 2018 and I finished the rest of it in late 2019, despite how bad I thought the story was. I don't regret writing this, but I don't enjoy the ship anymore, and some of it is cringey- BUT I do understand that some people have enjoyed this, so I am keeping it up. This was created so long ago I'm not even sure what triggers apply so read at your own discretion. There is no sexual content though.
