Thrown into the chaos of villain attacks, rivalries, friendships, and a world that grows far less black and white the more she's in it, Nakano slowly begins to realize that being a true hero is something more than society has painted it. As she discovers who she is and what she wants, Nakano finds things she never expected: people who don't look at her quirk with fear, friends willing to stand beside her, and teachers willing to stand up for her. But as the threat of war between heroes and villains grows larger, Nakano must dig deep inside herself to figure out what's important to her as both a person and a hero.
