Unfortunately, his normal day in interrupted when a strange villain that Peter has never seen before appears, and Peter finds himself falling through a portal to another dimension. At least, he hopes it's another dimension. Gotham certainly doesn't exist on his Earth, and the Batman and the Robins would really be a help to have on the Avengers. Eventually, Ruby joined the Bat Family team but mainly worked behind the scenes at the Bat-computer or helping Barbara with her work as Oracle.
