Be aware owo Gavin Reed had been dating RK900 for a while now. But then they had a fight and they hated each other. Gavin was super awkward now so he quit work so he couldn't see RK900 ever again. He wanted to just forget everyone at the DPD existed. Especially RK900. He gets home and decides to search the web for things to get it all off his mind. Then he finds something. Something that will literally get it off his mind. Some sort of secret online society that erases people's minds for free by using some sort of unknown device. Then some shit goes down lmao and yeah.

"You're welcome to stay the night at my place, if you'd like." What are you doing, Reed? The last time you offered some girl the comfort of your home you- "If it's not too much trouble, I'd love to." The year is almost coming to an end, and Gavin Reed decides to spend the last remaining hours drinking and smoking his life away in a local bar. He has no New Year's resolution, and no major plans for the future. His job with the Detroit Police Department had been forfeit after the android revolution, and he now works as a part-time associate at some smoke shop downtown. As if his life couldn't have gotten any worse, he now suddenly has to take on the challenge of taking care of a girl with a tragic backstory filled with betrayal and domestic violence. Who knows? Maybe she'll be the one to finally change his life for the better.

Gavin's reluctant acceptance of androids becomes more apparent as one android in particular somehow catches Gavin with his guard down. Though Gavin maintains a tough exterior, Nines battles to see what's behind it.

Hello to anyone who is gonna read this! This is my very first time to write a story about DBH (Detroit Become Human). It's about Gavin, but he is assigned with an Android that will help him to stay I order and help him with murder cases. Of course, he hated him since he looked like Connor and always said, he doesn't anyone to baby him around. And, you'll have to read to see what happens next. :p

The revolution is over. All sentient androids have been recycled and Detroit has been returned to humans. Cyberlife made a public apology and after an uproar from the public, was bought out by another company and rebranded as RMC, short for Robots and Machinery Co. They remade many of their models and made sure they passed a new Amanda test, to ensure no deviancy. Connor's legacy lives on in the RK900 models, which have been sent to armies and local police stations as a utility for the fighting and investigations. All police teams recieved one RK900 as a partner and one of them was Gavin Reed, who did not like this change in the slightest.
