I recently wrote a chapter of Thoughts I Never Intended to Share titled "My Collection of Words." Like many of the chapters that preceded this one, its subject was grounded in truth. I actually do carry a small black book in my pocket that contains all my favorite quotes, some of them my own, most of them from my favorite writers. These quotes mean a lot to me. They have changed my life. So, I decided that I would like to share them here. This will not really be my own writing, more of a way that I can share meaning with the world. Please enjoy my Collection of Words. The cover I chose is a painting by the legendary Felix Mendelssohn, a veritable renaissance man and composer of great nuance and substance. A perfect match for the words that lie within.

This collection of poems is somewhat self explanatory. I held a mirror up to my soul and my reflection was viewed as the following. It poured out of me, I just wrote it down.

The rain fell in sheets, obscuring the view of the street below. The wind howled outside, rattling the windows and sending a chill through the room. Lars Hertervig sat at his desk, staring at the blank canvas in front of him. He had been sitting there for hours, but he had not been able to paint a single stroke. He felt paralysed, unable to move or think. He picked up the brush and began to paint.... The story will explore Lars's inner turmoil as he struggles with his mind. It will be a narrative about optimism, grief, and the influence of art. .

After relocating to a new town. Akeelah is forced to live alone when her mum dies. Her dad was on a business trip and he was going to join them soon according to her mum.But her dad was never gonna join them because the truth is that they got divorced. Her mum hadn't told her about it due to Her(Akeelah) health status which causedher difficulty in going through tough or extreme emotions. How's Akeelah gonna feel when she finds out the truth? Akeelah is later shocked to know the person who is interested in comforting her and understanding her pain "Come on Akeelah. What's wrong? " He drank in her startled look giving him the hint that she was shocked rather than surprised to see him. Her glassy eyes glowed with unshed tears behind the lens of her glasses. She couldn't figure out why her insides coiled up with shock as he she raised her head which had been between her bent knees to look up at him. Was it because he paid her a random visit or because he cared to know what was wrong with her or because for the very first time he wasn't wearing that fucking serious look he always wore? His face looked as cool as ever. She held her hands to her face and sobbed hard into her palms trying to swallow those sobs and hold the cry back. "what's wrong? " he whispered he crouched beside her and squatted in front of her. "why are you crying into your palms, keels? " he paused and met her gaze as she lifted her head slowly. "You've got my shoulder " What! Did I just hear him offer me his shoulder to cry on? The startled look over her face doubled as his soft gaze melted her, it tripped at the gentle squeeze he gave her hands. She sniffed harder causing her to sneeze lightly as she tried to force the fresh tears back. Her eyes drowned into a pool of shock and surprise as he absorbed her into his strong arms giving her a tight suffocating hug. "shhhhhh" he cooed as she began to cry again. "you have a shoulder to lean and cry on now okay " he assured her.

Evermere was supposed to be quiet. Predictable. Safe. But when Gabriel Lancaster-a brooding, enigmatic writer with a dangerous past-arrives in town, Eleanor Hayes's world shifts beneath her feet. He is darkness wrapped in temptation, a man who speaks in riddles and kisses like he's trying to set her soul on fire. The attraction between them is undeniable, electric, and far too powerful to ignore. But Gabriel is hiding something. A past soaked in tragedy. A love story that ended in heartbreak... or worse. When secrets begin to unravel and shadows from his past resurface, Eleanor must decide: Does she walk away before she's in too deep? Or does she risk everything for a love as untamed as the sea? Because some men aren't meant to be loved. And some love stories don't get happy endings. Or do they?

As we grow, we get too absorbed by our problems to smile at the morning Sun or notice the beautiful sunset. Read this poem and I am sure that you'll realise what all you have lost with your childhood while you were apparently getting 'ready' for your life.
