It's amazing how your whole life can change so extremely in just a few seconds, days, months. And everything only because a misunderstanding, a war. Nowadays, we, the Europeans, hear a lot about the refugees, how many of them die trying to arrive in our continent, and how others achieved to escape from their motherlands. Many of us like to criticize them, giving them the image of poor bad people, running away from their troubles just to create new here. We almost never stop to take even a second and imagine how they survived the tragedy and brought their families thinking about the security we could offer. Aneesa was only fourteen years old, as a war dared to end with the security and peacefulness of her beloved ones and she self. Obligated to run away of her country and leave her past and friends behind, she made a journey across tree different countries, two different continents and the Atlantic Ocean, in the search of a better life. Based on a true story...

24-year old Ethan Hurst has never belonged. He's always been too impulsive, too hot-headed, and too reckless to fit into mainstream society. Alansa, the city of his birth and residence has always been inhabited by both werewolves and humans. However, recently, the city has seen a revival in social movements against the ghettoization of modern werewolves - individuals who choose to sleep in city apartments rather than the forest, choose to shop instead of hunt, and choose to disguise themselves instead of shift. The werewolves are calling for equal rights: the desegregation of busses, stores, and cities - and for better treatment: higher pay, civil rights, and equal opportunity. Ethan has been relatively safeguarded against the civil unrest as he's too busy partying among the wealthiest in Alansa than to care about the social welfare of species' other than humans. Until, he meets Kimani Vae: his destined mate. And he realizes that among all the fearmongering occurring in the city, one thing is for sure: Ethan Hurst has Alpha werewolf blood running through his veins - he just never knew it until now.

Can we do more for the 70 million people who no longer have a home to return to? I created this video to raise more awareness for World Refugee Day. What a lot of people don't realize (and that the news rarely mentions) is that some 70 million people in the world are now displaced. May it be through war. Terrorism. Natural disasters. These are people who sadly no longer have a home to return to without risking their lives. And when you understand the statistics behind refugees, it's jaw-dropping.

HIGHEST RANKING: #2 IN HISTORICAL FICTION (IUSTITIA MEANS JUSTICE IN LATIN) PREVIOUSLY KNOW AS ''REFUGEES OF THE WORLD'' When the world is in the height of its madness, finding sane people is scarce. A mysterious woman by the name of Reyna travels to six different countries to recruit six teenagers. She moulds the emotionally unstable teens into something incredible. She makes them into the strongest team possible. That's what she tries to do. Things don't always go as planned. When the most petrifying event in history to date strikes, the whole world falls out of place and into havoc all the more, the team must set aside their differences and find out what they should really do. And, they're not really sure which side is good and evil anymore. Disclaimer: This book does include mature themes when connected to war. It does not include sexual references and a majority of cussing. It may just make you scared knowing that war has happened and things like this have also taken place. I, at the other believe that this book will be my best so far and I'm working extremely hard on it.

**Old story, collecting dust on my shelf, and looking for some fresh eyes :) ** If the world wasn't falling apart, 17-year old Dani Clarke would be living a normal life as a teenager on Manitoulin Island. But years of savage storms have done a lot to change things. They've left most plant life and water sources dried up in the drought that's followed. They've decimated the world's populations, first with famine, then with global and civil wars fought over dwindling resources. They've made people like Dani refugees within their own countries. And according to Canada's new Sponsored Cities Act, refugees have to earn their chance to survive. When she and her family seek asylum in London, Ontario, Dani learns the price she has to pay for her family's safety and her own: a two-year term of service as a Sentry, one of the scouts deployed with the military supply convoys that travel between government-sponsored cities through the treacherous No Man's Land that separates them. Alongside fellow Sentries and allies among their convoy's soldiers, Dani struggles against brutality on both sides of the city walls, hoping to live to see things come back from the brink. What none of them realize is that this is only the beginning. The people living in No Man's Land, known as outliers, aren't as scattered and helpless as they're believed to be. They've organized, and they have their own plans to survive. Even if it means shattering what's left of the country to do it.
