1973. The United States withdrew from the Vietnam War. The country celebrates the return of the troops. For Reg Slivko, a young and passionate soldier, the homecoming has a special meaning. He has proven his worth and has come out alive to tell it. Now, he thinks, can concentrate on a much more difficult matter: win back his ex, Megan Fox (nothing to do with the actress). But while the country and the soldiers celebrate, an expedition to an uncharted island takes place in the darkest corners of the Congress. Slivko and his mates, despite themselves, must postpone their plans to get involved in the mission. The world seems to conspire against Reg, the yearned reunion will have to wait, or that's what he believes. Megan has not heard from Reg since he left. She has done everything in her power to stay in touch, but after waiting uselessly for months, has decided to move on with her life and embark on the mapping expedition of LANDSAT. She does not imagine that her attempt to run away from the man she loves will carry her straight to his arms. The circumstances will test the lovers and, in their struggle for survival; they will have to face more than one monster.

She's always loved animals, and she could probably tell you more about the South American rain forests than an actual scientist could. She's close to the average 17 year old girl in the 1970's. There was once a legend that depicted, that because Nature was too unbalanced with the creation of vampires it sought its very own way to return the peace and stabilization. That's when the mates of each and every created vampire started to appear randomly. Sometimes it even took hundreds of decades for one to meet their destined soulmate.

Jean Horton, the famous opera diva, has quite a few regrets in her life, but her daughter Ophelia is none of them. How the relationship with Ophelia's father ended is definitely one though. And so is not telling him about their daughter. But facing him after everything she'd done? Impossible. Only when involuntarily reunited by fate they get the chance to work things out and maybe give their relationship (and family) one more try. A story inspired by the movie Quartet and the song "One More Try" from &Juliet the Musical (Check them out, top tier entertainment!). I don't own any of the characters from the play/movie. I have taken the liberty to move back in time and develop the characters from the movie a little, as well as adding some characters to make the story interesting. Hope you like it :)
