Welcome to the Vent Zone, a book separate from my Random Things book where I will vent anything that bothers or annoys me and possibly do some ranting. Topics will be random and possible make a big deal over nothing because that is what I do. Some things I say may not agree with you or you will hate me over it, but I am me and you are you; we cannot force anybody to not be themselves. The world needs more polite correction, not constructive criticism. No criticism, offensive comments, or insults please!! If they are all that I get for venting, it's not worth getting out of my little shell and making this book... (cover made by @NekoLostFan )

Chronic Pain Treatment with Magnetic Therapy Chronic pain therapy with magnetic therapy is something that people living with chronic pain might naturally want to seek out. Let's see the challenge of chronic pain and how magnetic therapy works and will be applied to the body. What is chronic pain? Chronic and persistent pain affects millions of people worldwide and generally is poorly treated; otherwise, it would cease to be regular. Chronic pain is usually caused by an original injury that affects the nerves or conditions such as diabetes, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. Often chronic pain behaves like a smoke alarm that continues to sound long after the fire has been put out. So too, an initial injury may have long passed, but the body's pain messaging keeps firing, and the sensation of great pain perseveres. The pain is said to become "maladaptive." the nervous system changes, becomes informed, and amplifies the body's pain messaging. If one can calm or dampen down these over-sensitive nerves, then the relief of chronic pain symptoms may be possible. According to the National Institutes of Health, 200 million Americans suffer chronic pain. It'sIt's a number that has been on the rise and is of concern for those in the medical community. Chronic pain can limit a person's quality of life, cause depression, and increase blood pressure. But people who suffer from chronic pain seek alternative ways to find relief without filling another prescription. According to a University of Michigan Health System study, about a third of sufferers use complementary and alternative therapies. Those treatments include acupuncture and chiropractic visits. Magnetic therapy can ease the symptoms of chronic conditions and alleviate aches and pains. A complement to traditional therapies, magnetic therapy is a drug-free way to seek relief.

This poem was brought to my attention by a whispering muse one morning while I was in the shower. At the time, I was contemplating all the fantasies I hold dear and how I love to just plunge into each of them as if they were my present reality. Then the whisper came, "Dreams are like kites... are they not?" That little whispering question cascaded into a fully realized poem. However, the process was not so simple this time; because once I had reached my computer to begin the drafting process I had wasted precious time trying to bargain, "Can you wait a few minutes? I just applied shampoo and I am soaking wet." This stalling costed me dearly. A story, a poem, or any other creative idea do not wait around for when we are ready. So, if I wasn't going to make it become realized when it presented itself to me then off it would drift to someone else. Sensing I was about to lose the opportunity, I lunged for the string, tied it to myself, and then ran (wet and naked) to my computer. Though due to the stalling, the draft came out clunky, pieces forgotten, and the later revision process took much longer than usual. It was tough... needless to say. All in all, it is now completed, and I learned a lot from this poem and the experiences given. My hope is that you come away with an appreciation for the lesson I learned and that later when a kite drifts by you take full advantage of the opportunity rather than trying to stall for more time. As always, thank you for your time, and your feedback is greatly appreciated. -Moony Thinker Image Reference: Photo by TK Hammonds on Unsplash
