He is the son to Aphrodite, but he doesn't know that. After his birth, Aphrodite took her son to see if he was gifted with any god like qualities. When it seemed that he didn't, she casted her son aside, sending him to his mortal father. Now a young man, the child did seem to gain the quality to attract both females and males to his side. His looks were like no other, which most would think to be a gift, but to him they were a curse. Aden Kings works hard to keep himself out of trouble, but it's hard when you have both males and females claiming that they love you. Why would this be troublesome? Well, most of his confessors are already in relationships. There were even teachers who were making advances at him. After a misunderstanding with a boyfriend to a girl who had confessed to him, Aden is thinking of dropping out of school to solve his problem, but Aden's best friend Lance McCall comes up with an ultimatum: "Why not just say for the time being that we're dating. It'll get everyone off your back, and I can deal with the crazy girls and guy who'll be coming after you." It's thanks to this idea that Aden stays in school and it keeps everyone else away from him, but it also puts Lance in danger. Aden's real mother finally shows her face after Lance is in an accident that puts him in a coma. She wants her son to come home to Mount Olympus with her and be with a member of her family. Angry with her Aden refused and never saw her as his mother. This equally angers his mother and she swears that she would have her son by her side, one way or another. It's not until a couple of months after Lance goes into a coma and Aden meets his mother that he's suddenly approached by one of the greatest superheroes ever, Wonder Woman. She offers him a place on the Team and it's there that Aden meets Cassandra Sandsmark, and it's then that Aden is even more confused of WHO he is. This is the beginning of the story of the immortal Plazmid, 15-year old hero of earth. He's stopped meteors, saved the planet from evils more times than one can count, and is a friend to all. But that's all in the future. For now... this is the second of three parts of his origin. Read as Plazmid learns to use his powers, connects with many other heroes, and becomes the greatest hero in the galaxy. Book 2: To Become a Hero Chris reawakens to find much time has passed, everything has changed, and he faces a choice that will decide his future. I would love to hear your feedback!
