It's about.... PLUCKING EYEBROWS This is a topic we just want to avoid or hope it would just go away Although, not thinking about it does not mean that the Hukum (order) isn't there. And you know what? It is sad to say that at least 90% of our sisters (if not more) are guilty of doing it. But dear Sister, have you really thought about it? What does Islam REALLY say about shaping the eyebrows? Shaykh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen says: "Plucking of women's eyebrows is not permissible. That's because the Messenger of Allaah (sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa sallam) cursed the one who does it. It is haraam and is not permitted."

It couldn't be worse than the hardships our Prophet (saw) or his companions went through and yet they were forbidden to wish for death. Physical, emotional or financial problems, singly or combined can put us into that kind of short-sighted mode. We tend to forget that we have been told not to wish for death. We forget that with death, our troubles may not necessarily come to an end as we do not know what awaits us after it.

"True Love" by Unknown Love - one of the strongest emotions known to mankind- a power that can ruin or redeem a life- that can bring joy or painful heartbreak. Today as the world celebrates this emotion on Valentine's Day, we see hearts of all sizes and shapes all around, hearts of chocolate and satin. O Yes! It's Valentines! The day of hearts, red roses, poetry, candies and above all - Love! Where did Valentine's Day come from? There are many traditions about its origin, but the most authentic seems to be the one from Encyclopedia Britannica that says that this day has nothing to do with Saint Valentine, instead it is related to the Roman pagan festival of their god, Lupercalia. It was celebrated on 15th February and in honour of the goddess Juno Februata, the names of girls were placed in an urn and the men would draw out the name of a girl at random who would then become their date for the remaining festival.

"Making It Happen For Best" By Zainab Habib When faced with adverse circumstances in life or some misfortune, it is common for us to console ourselves with the fact that 'everything that happens, happens for the best'. In my opinion, this statement, unless really understood, can become too much of a generalization and may actually stand in the way of our accepting the responsibility for our mistakes and bad decisions.

Sometimes when I'm reading the Quran, I find an Ayah that really hits me hard. I've always wanted to share these Ayahs with people so that's why I created this book. The chapters will be pretty short, but just something you can read everyday so that you get a tiny reminder of your religion and refresh your Imān. Each chapter will just have an Ayah, it's translation, and a small blurb that I'll write relating to the Ayah. I hope to update everyday, In Shaa Allah! Please try to take a minute out of your day to read and understand the Kalaam of your Lord, or are you too busy to just spare a single minute? I hope not!

As our second term result were given in our hand, then we understood where we all stand. Some hearts were full of joy and happiness, Some hearts were full of hope for the next. Thanks to Allah that he gave us a chance to improve, as after death we will only have to move,(for the next step) My eyes were full of tears and heart was full of fear, thinking how we'll face the final day when no one will be near. No changes can be done in the final letter(book of records), No second chance to make it better. And there we will stand in front of our lord, and that too will our complete record.
