In this alternate universe, Anne creates a tragic tale of romance based on this chapter of her life to cope with all her emotions. In the library one day, Anne and Diana run into Diana's childhood friend, Royal Gardner, a charming young man who happens to be the son of a publisher. "When one book is finished, open another. It's an adventure that will end in tragedy or happiness, but an adventure nonetheless." This is based on Netflix's and CBC's "Anne with an 'E'," and the book series "Anne of Green Gables" by Lucy Maud Montgomery.
