Gilbert is pretty clueless when it comes to comforting Anne. But what if he wasn't? What if he comforted her after she came back from visiting the orphanage instead of sniffing Winnie's flower like an idiot? What if....?

The Avonlea girls have begun their journey at Queens; Gilbert has begun his at the University of Toronto; Jerry has just moved in with Matthew and Marilla at Green Gables; Ka'wet is still at the school in Halifax with her parents still waiting for her. What happened to all of them after the show ended? That "remains to be seen".

Anne with an e story Judith Blythe. Sent away by the church to an asylum for re-education, for reasons only known by a few. Set in season 3 of Anne with an e. She's back, supposedly better? Missing her brother and friends for over 2 years what could have changed.

"Anne felt the tears well up in her eyes as she ran as fast as she could. Away from it all. She could hear Josie Pye's voice taunting her again and again. No, it wasn't only Josie. It was her entire life taunting her ever since her parents had died and the worst part was that it was true...... all of it. Even the part about Gilbert. Anne stopped to catch her breath at the Lake of Shining Waters. On a normal night, Anne would have breathed in awe as the lake reflected the beautiful lights of the infinite stars in the dark night sky, but all Anne could feel was despair. She sat there shivering in the cold until she heard she heard a dreadfully familiar voice. "Anne!!!!", Anne turned around and locked with a pair of brown with a hint of green. Gilbert Blythe. " (So this is a remake of the story I wrote before because I hated the other one. This is mostly a sherbert story but will obviously feature all the other characters as well and their lives. I also want to add a lot more action scenes which I wish were in the tv show.)

Clara WIlliams has lived in Avonlea for most of her life, and she's known Gilbert Blythe for just as long. Despite the rough start to their friendship, the pair have always been there when they needed one another because of a promise they made as children. They were promised to never leave the other alone, but it's not how it worked out. After his father's death, Gilbert left on a journey to find himself, leaving Clara alone and lost. While he's gone, Clara does her best to make it through the challenges life throws at her and ends up finding herself. It's not until Gilbert comes back that either of them realize the rift that one broken promise caused. Can they go back to how it was before? Will their feelings for each other finally be admitted? Or will the two of them remain friends for the rest of their lives? And most importantly, how much damage can a broken promise cause?

If Anne of Green Gables was set in modern days. Anne grew up in an adoption center, moving from foster home to foster home until she was about 10, when she stopped getting adopted and got sent back to the Center. Anne is now 16 and her best friend is Cole MacKenzie. A lot of the backgrounds ave been changed, but the characters and their personalities are the same. :)

so obsessesed with Anne with an E, sobbing over the finale. hence i wanted to give all those who are in the depths of despair like me a flutter of hope.

Gilbert and Anne have never met. They were assigned as pen pals through a class assignment. Where does it go from there?

Season 4 AND 5! I can't stand the fact we wont (as for now) be having new episodes to look forward to so I've written my own version of how I would do it. This is based off of L.M. Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables and the Netflix adaptation Anne with an "E." I do not own anything!! I've tried my best to make it as similar to the writing of the show and characters. I know I'm still a long shot off, but I didn't try to divert from the original lessons, tasks, morals, etc. I'd love some feedback on how to improve!
