Langa has known since he first met Reki that he wanted to always be by his side, no matter what that meant. Unfortunately, with deep attachment comes deep connection, and for Langa, that connection has led to his feelings for Reki straying further and further from the path of friendship. Reki didn't really think of much else except for skating, which was how he wanted it. He didn't like getting caught up in the mess of life beyond. However, when he met Langa, the world outside of his comfortable bubble slowly started seeping in.

Being good at everything was easy for Miya; school, skating, press conferences, they were all effortless, or well.. maybe not good at everything. Making friends was something Miya was not too good at, even when he is part of this goofy group of people with Reki, Langa, Cherry, Joe and Shadow, who all treated him either like a little brother or a son, Miya still lacked the close conection with someone his age. Ever since his skating popularity grew and he became a promising young star for the skating national team, he had to, unwillingly, step away from those he called friends, just for him to decide he needed no one and everyone was just an slime compared to him. Miya's life had become bleak, except for the moments he went out skating with the group, but everything would change drastically when a new face transfered to his school, a freckled boy from another country who was infuriatingly smart but terribly shy, which was nothing but intriguing and frustrating to Miya, who found a newly discovered fascination to the enygmatic boy that had a book stuck to his nose all the time. When Reki's family leaves on a trip, he stays behind to take care of the house- but he gets lonely and ends up getting Langa to stay over for the week alone. But what happens when their feelings get entangled with their friendship? What happens when they end up kissing on their very first night alone together? Langa must return to Canada for college and has no idea when or if he will return. Reki and the others are taken aback by the news. Reki is saddened to see his one true love departing and fears he will never see him again. Langa, who believes he will be able to stay in Canada permanently.
