Cursed images for you to take and use as your own. They can be used as response images for when you don't know how to reply to a text. Enjoy or you will perish. Credit to whoever brought them upon this land.

A collection of my 'reading responses'. Follow me as I delve into the themes of a collection of different novels. Together, we will see how - even though they are works of fiction - they can relate to our lives and the societies we live in. In books, we find truth. In words, we see ourselves. Note; Throughout these 'reports' I use the term 'Year 12' to refer to teenagers age 16-18. However, due to some more mature themes some novels contain, I have decided to place my target audience within New Adult. Others underneath this target are of course welcome to continue reading, however it is at their own caution. I do not own the books that the reports focus on, but the reports themselves are my work. Paige Parker has loved Disney since she was only a little girl. Her mother used to read her princess stories every night before she sadly passed away, due to a car accident, when Paige was only nine. Now, at the age of seventeen her love for Disney has still not died down, in fact, it’s gone even further to the point where all of her outfits are loosely based on princesses. One week per princess – that’s her motto. Despite first impressions and strange fashions, Paige isn’t a loner. Don’t get me wrong, she’s not the most popular girl in the school either, she’s just normal with her group of friends and two best buddies; Jane and Sophie. However, what happens when Paige meets Dylan Green, the most feared and desired guy in the school? Could this be her very own fairy-tale?

Dark Night of the Soul is a classic piece of Christian literature. It discusses an experience that seems to come to all of us sooner or later. I wrote two response poems, and so I have posted the original, by St. John of the Cross, and the two responses.
