People always considered her to be the oddball, the weirdo, the ugliest, the runt. She didn't care. When a trip to the villiage makes her feel the need to help someone, she sneaks out at night, hoping to not be noticed. She soon becomes friends with the hunter of the villiage, Orion. When she is given an exciting choice on what type of "power" to have, she soon realizes that it comes with a price. Stories can change over time until it is almost completely backwards and unrecognizable. How it came to be is often lost. That is why it is best to look toward the beginning of things, rather than what it became; because only then will you truly understand. It didn't happen ages ago in a land far away-but it happened right here, right now, in an ordinary town with ordinary kids. Let me tell you my story of how it all began. The most famous in all fairy tales. To be honest, if Snow White really looked like that, she'd look like a vampire. In a world where magic and machines collide, Snow White is not who she seems. But her sister, Eirwyn, is a vampire. An evil one. Adena must hunt and kill her sister, to save the Imperial Kingdom of Japan. A retelling of Snow White. But this one has no happy ending. Snow White is bloodthirsty. The "Evil Queen" is helping us. And the forgotten sister just might be the one to save them all. Most would call it a classic. But there is nothing classic about this tale. Little do story tellers know, there was a fourth Darling child who lived in the nursery. Ophelia Darling was seemingly forgotten when her siblings flew to Neverland, and now she's more alone than ever. Her siblings have shared an experience and made memories that she will never be able to compete with. Ophelia decides that there is nothing more vile in the world than the boy named Peter Pan, who stole her siblings from her. Fairy tales are so often boxed into good and evil. Just for fun I'm trying on a new set, a little darker in some corners, but still hopefully keeping the heart of the characters themselves. What if princesses were serial killers and fairy god mothers were really evil? Hmmm

A mangled curse. An old feud. A horrible monster. Ever since the Beast overthrew the King three years ago, the country of Fabel has been on the edge of chaos and Annalise's nameless village is one of many places hanging onto order by a fraying thread. With only a thin stretch of danger infested forest away from the old castle, it's prime hunting ground for the Beast. As if fending off regular attacks weren't enough, denying the advances of a monster hunter turns out to be harder than it ought to be, especially since Anna already has an engagement ring on her finger. But it only takes one broken bargain to shatter everything Annalise knows. To save her father from a fatal mistake, Anna agrees to take his place as the Beast's prisoner. But she hasn't given up on going home so she strikes a deal of her own. She can leave the castle, but only if she breaks the curse that binds the Beast - a curse he can't tell her how to break.
