After being violently dragged back to life, the experiment continues on other unfortunate souls as well. As Lichen dies multiple times again, he is desperately trying to find a way to anchor himself to the Realm of the Dead, when he discovers that souls can only be revived so many times before shattering, completely erasing its existence and throwing off the balance between worlds. For the sake of the Dead, a few newfound friends, and for the future of the Living, Lichen must halt the actions of Project Reversusque before it's too late...
