What if Ben Solo didn't die at the end of Episode IX: Rise of Skywalker? Here's what I think would happen. Spoilers. Duh.

The defeat of the emperor came at a price neither Ben nor Rey were willing to accept. What lengths will they go to to protect one another and what sacrifices will it take? As their love grows stronger, distance makes their hearts grow fonder. Ben sacrificed his life for the woman he loved. Rey will go to any length to save the man she loves. But when she discovers a heartwarming surprise, Rey realizes that to save Ben she would not only be sacrificing her own life. Can Rey protect those she loves as well as save the man she loves?

A post "The Rise of Skywalker" story. Months have passed since the end of the war against Emperor Palpatine, since Rey lost her dyad in the Force, Ben Solo, and found a new home on the Lars's moisture farm on Tatooine. Ever since she settled in on the desert planet, Rey started training a new order of Jedi, teaching them about the balance of the Force, taking her mind off of what happened on Exegol until after her lessons, because that's when she tries to reach out in the Force to search for him. For Ben Solo. But even after months of trying to reach out to him day after day, Rey still fails, believing he doesn't want to see her. She is frustrated and desperate, and about to give up hope until she finds out about a place existing within the Force, a place existing between time and space: the world between worlds. Could Ben be stuck in the world between worlds? Could he have been alive after all? And can Rey bring him back? All characters and planets are from Lucasfilm/Disney. The fic contains the world between worlds, but I added my own little spin to it. The art is by meadowhayle.

Rey stays on Tatooine while the resistance tries to bring a new order to the galaxy. After the defeat of the First Order and the death of the man she loves, she is not sure what to do. But what if he wasn't actually dead? What if the Wills sent him back to liver is life with Rey? This is their story. Takes place after TROS, so obviously spoilers. I refuse to believe that Ben is dead and this is how I am coping with it. I own nothing except for the plot. Everything goes to Disney and Lucas-film. I found the cover art online.

❝He didn't say anything, just stared. A malicious glint came to his eyes. "Rey, I did not think you could be this foolish. I am years older than you, physically and mentally. How could I ever fall for a Jedi? I am stronger that that." This was what he reiterated in his head every day, every second he thought about her. But she was right indeed. He did like her. It seemed like an understatement almost. He needed her. Every second that Rey wasn't with him felt like torture. He couldn't let her know that. He also desperately clung to the darkness. His darkness was what fueled him and what kept him going. He couldn't possibly give that up. The girl was a conundrum. "Liar," Rey whispered. She crossed the distance between them. Now, they were only a few inches apart, separated by the bars of the cell. "You're right," he smiled. Yet again, it didn't reach his eyes. Rey was right. He could barely stand to be someone he wasn't. But his past called for him. "I am a liar. A manipulative beast." He reached out and tucked a stray piece of hair behind her ear. "You would do well to stay away." She stepped back. She had felt a jolt of something when he touched her. Like she was being set on fire, but she loved it. "St- Stay away from me," she stuttered. Never in her life had she been terrified of herself this much. He frowned. "You don't like this, little padawan?" ---- Thank you for reading! Any feedback is welcome.

Rey has always been alone living with her foster father who always treats her like a slave. When the apocalypse breaks out her foster father leaves her alone in the deserted village of Jakku in the middle of no where for dead. Rey has to survive on her own but is desperate for comfort. Ben solo otherwise know as Kylo Ren has escaped the city and is driving to find a safe haven away from the zombies in the middle of nowhere. His mother is now a zombie and his father is missing. He is alone. He needs to quit his obnoxious attitude to be able to find someone who cares.

The action happens after "The last jedi" when both Rey and Ben realized they fell in love with the other one. But their roads are going in opposite directions and Rey does her best to bring Ben back to the light side; back to her. What will the two give up for each other when their are willing to pay anything to be with the other one but they are both too proud to do it? Also, if you watched tros, then you will be glad of how this fanfiction turns. I don't own any of the characters, they belong to Disney and George Lucas. The action is not going to happen like it does in "The rise of Skywalker".

Rey Palpatine who was raised by her Grandfather and was train by him since she was a child. She is very skilled and is strong in the force. She is also very smart and is able to build and pilot very. Kylo ren trained and raised by snoke and was turned to the dark side and left everything he had behind, he is very clever and is stong in more ways then one. Their masters have them meet but dont tell them they are on the same side until they see will win the fight between the two. Both of them have a goal though, to take out their masters. Rey hates her grandfather for killing her parents. Kylo hates Snoke for not giving him the credit he deserve for all the years of serving him. So will they be able to both get what they want? Read and find out. I own nothing but the story being told.
