After Gaia was defeated, Nico thought he might finally be accepted at the two camps. But he wasn't. He still creeped everyone besides his close friends out, was always the scary son of Hades. The oddball. The freak. When one of his closest friends is killed, he is sick of it all. But then Nico is given a second chance. A fresh start. A new identify. A new life.

After monster-proofing Goode High, the Seven, Nico, Reyna, the Stoll Brothers, Calypso, Drew, Hyllia, Kronos, Grover, and Juniper all are sent to high school by Chiron for a year, to "relax". "Remember my promise, Reyna." Aphrodite's voice rang in her head. I closed my eyes. "Please Go away." I whispered. "what?" Nico asked. "Not you hun, I-I though I saw a fly." A say to him nervously. I hear Aphrodite giggle. "Remember me, Reyna."

What they don't realize is that on this quest someone important will die. Someone very important to them will never come back to the living. Will they make it out alive themselves?
