When Riley's crush Lucas chooses to date her best friend Maya, she is heart broken. Although seeing Maya and Lucas together is painful, Riley vows to support them and accept that she and Lucas were just not meant to be. Keeping her head up and being secure in herself can be hard, especially for a girl who is experiencing the challenges of high school for the first time. Riley slowly falls into the spiral that is depression. But with the help of Maya, her family, and one of her best friends Farkle, Riley regains strength and realizes that her Prince Charming was right before her eyes the whole time. "How could I have been so blind? Of course it's Farkle. It's always been Farkle."

6 teenagers. All grow up in different homes. With different life styles. They all have one thing in common. Will it bring them together. Can they become friends. Or will they tear each other apart.

When Lucas wants Riley back after Maya moved away Riley says she doesn't want to be in any relationship right now after her breakup with Farkle. As her relationship grows with Lucas the more she sees Farkle. Farkle wants her back now. Riley loves him, but also Lucas. Will her heart be with the man that chose another girl over her or will her heart go to the boy that broke up with her?

Riley Matthews is depressed. She doesn't believe that anyone sees her. After she breaks up with her boyfriend, she isolates herself from her friends. It feels like years since she last spoke to them. She wants to die. No one will notice. But someone does. He always does. Every change in her personality, her mood, her emotions, he always notices. Farkle Minkus will always believe that she is a Princess. Even if she doesn't. He will always be there for here, even if SHE doesn't want him there.

Riley was a good girl. She passed all her tests and always followed the rules. Farkle on the other hand was the complete opposite. He always failed. He was smart but he wanted to impress his friends. He was always bad also to impress his friends. What happens when farkle and riley actualy come in contact with each other. Will they fall for each other or leave with broken hearts.
