The Story follows the main cast (and their new/old friends) ten years after the show ended. The backyardigans continued to play, sing, and dance. Until a certain grade level where Tasha, Pablo, and Tyrone moved away. The friends lived a part for some time. Now in 2024, Uniqua is going to Starlight City to showcase her dance skills which could land her a full time dance job in Paris, France. But in a rush of events, she leaves behind her ballet slippers. Now it's up to Leo (and some friends) to get to Starlight City before Uniqua performs. But not everything is what it seems. What if Christina Grimmie was alright, If something happened and she's still here, alive, with us. I cant stress enough how much I wish this was all just a bad dream, that none of this ever happened, she is okay. This is a fan fiction about Christina being alright. I wish this wasn't a fan fiction that I am having so much pain writing, I wish it was real. I wish Christina was here. She deserved absolutely none of this, she should still be here but now shes singing amount the angels. I dont know what to say here without giving too much away so there you go. This was very hard for e to write because Christina was my idol, and my world. Its a tragic ending that I wish never happened, she was only 22. Its called Dear Christina because it starts out with Sarah (Christinas best friend) writing her a letter, telling her to hang on. -- Disclaimer- I dont mean to affend anyone especially not Christina, Christinas friends or family during this time so forgive me if its a bit sensitive to this subject and Christina. It hurt so much to write just thinking about if she was still here and how un fair this all is. Team Grimmie... stay strong... you guys rawwwk so much! Keep holding on and keep your head up high, I know it's hard... but your not alone!

I address awkward relationships with my characters because it is realistic. The beginning is really bad, I promise that if you suffer through the first cringe worthy chapters you'll love the story, I'm currently working on editing the earlier works.
