I'm so tired of society's constant judgment. As said, our history shaped who we are, which means that our ancestors' mistakes follow us. I'm tired of society labeling us because of our ancestors' faults; I wish to be judged for who I am, not who my family was. This is what happens when a young girl is Fed Up with society's judgment, fake friends, and two-faced hypocrites; she forms literature with it. "If I have this ability to form my thoughts into moving pieces of literature, I'd like to use this gift to move someone and make them think. Poetry is my way of getting out the words I never could get out with my mouth due to fear. But I'm not afraid anymore. If I can touch someone's heart with my words, I will do so to the best of my abilities."

Hello everybody, This is the final piece produced for my Rise 2021-2022 Project. This story features the issue of period poverty as well as some hard hitting experiences of racism, reader's discretion is advised. When choosing to make this, I wanted to produce an unique way of addressing the issue of inequality within education that allowed for it to be a bit more accessible for my target demographic: 15-17 year olds who wanted representation. By choosing a fictional story impact based on real life events, this story provides a new way of learning which is engaging both intelluctually and emotionally. I hope you learn something useful, and I hope this encourages you to do the same for others.

"Justice is the one thing you should always find." It might be a line in a country song, but Aidan Finch heard it long before Toby Keith and Willie Nelson came out with Unleashed. His adoptive father taught Aidan that justice wasn't a political issue or a matter of what someone wanted. It was a human right, and if it came in the form of revenge, then so be it. Aidan himself never really believed in taking revenge. Instead, he focused on music, simply because it could bring people joy. Chance encounters always seemed to work out in his favor, and that certainly seems to be the case when a handsome stranger approaches him. But only a few hours after meeting him, Aidan finds himself roped into an ancient revenge scheme as an unwilling player with a trio of the most unlikely allies. Fire has always been deemed unpredictable and unstable, but that couldn't begin to cover it. He's all for justice, but there are lines that ought to be drawn and never crossed.

This poem is more about fighting with my own self. Being angry with myself and eventually fighting for myself against all the questions and fingers raised by society and the world.

My story is about youth and how often youths dreams, voices, ideas , and ambitions are stut down by close-minded people who tell you what things have to be and how things will work out and how everyone as a person should act or talk or portray themselves.
