A crew of astronauts launch from Earth locked in a space race with a mission to begin construction on a research station. Their discoveries sure to provide glory to them and their nation. The sight of open space not blocked by atmosphere or a screen is said to be legendary. So they follow the lure of adventure. And maybe... of something else too. The cover photo was a direct inspiration to write this story.

It is three years after the Calypso Incident and the crew of the Honshu must contend with some rather belligerent members of Fizril's race, a terrorist organization known only as Red Claw. This story is part of the Rocket Riders of the 27th Century universe. Inspired by the game Subnautica (I 100% reccommend buying it, or watching a series of it on Youtube) but it is NOT based in Subnautica. You've heard of voltron right? Or how about the legen of Kora, or transformers? You've heard a story about superheroes or people who pilot small robots to form a giant robot to save the world of the universe or whatever. But you've never seen it have you? Well I did. Here's my story

Continuation to Ray Bradbury's short story, All Summer in a Day. On rainy planet Venus, the sun only comes out for a short time every seven years. Margot, a nine-year-old from Earth, settles into a new normal now that her classmates realize they were wrong to bully her. A new student from Earth shakes up life for everyone on Venus. I wrote this over ten years ago for a 6th grade assignment when I was 12. Nothing in this story is logical at all, but if you ever had to read the original short story for school and were traumatized, or if you just want to laugh at my scientifically inaccurate writing, then you might like this. Some grammar, spelling, and paragraph spacing errors have been corrected, but the rest is the same as 12-year-old me wrote.
