Two years after I left with all of our children and two years since the last time I saw him, the only reason that I'm doing this is because Ragnar is the Grandfather to all of my children Guthrum, Siggy, Hali, Asa and Ragnar.

I believe this could be of great interest to Historic Environment Scotland, both for its narrative power and as a potential ambassadorial story to promote interest in ancestral heritage, responsible tourism, and the protection of Scotland's medieval monuments. I would be honoured to speak further about how this ancestral legacy and its genetic confirmation can help bring the stories of Scotland's past to life for a global audience.
