It's 1996, Maya and Koa live on an island. In their wealthy community of rich families they find love and complications. They get involved in their family businesses, making quite the mess. Keeping their entangled relationships a secret becomes a challenging feat in the luxurious but gruesome world they call home. Maya finds herself caught up in a romantic whirlwind involving Koa, the island's richest and most spoiled 18-year-old. As exes mix with best friends, things get even messier... when Koa's previous crush starts showing interest in Maya. It's a drama-packed situation that needs untangling. ( Disclaimer, I'm writing this story for practice purposes ONLY. So all feedback is welcome! This is the second draft of Caged in Paradise. Sara tiene miedo a pesar de que ya conocía su destino, aunque saberlo de antemano no lo hace más fácil. Volará a Corea, un lugar lejano y diferente del que no comprende sus costumbres, pero al que tendrá que adaptarse ya que su futuro esposo, o el futuro negocio que va a cerrar su padre, es de allí. Tras de sí dejará amigos, un amor y un hogar que no es perfecto, pero que le es conocido, y se zambullirá en otro del que apenas conoce nada. Al llegar, no solo se topará con un mundo opuesto al suyo, sino con un guardaespaldas que pondrá su interior también patas arriba. También conocerá a su prometido. Un internado, peleas, grupos, soledad... Y lo único que la mantendrá en pie será su orgullo o, tal vez, lo que la haga caer sean los prejuicios.
